B級片之王 Roger Corman (1926~2024)以 98 歲高齡去世！從IMDb資料看起來他製作過493部電影，導演過56部電影，參與過46部電影的演出。Roger Corman 影響影壇之深遠我引用IMDb上面的一段話: 

Among those he mentored are Francis Ford Coppola, Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, James Cameron, Robert De Niro, Peter Bogdanovich, Joe Dante and Sandra Bullock. His influence on modern American cinema is almost incalculable. In 2009, he was honored with an Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement.

另一知名的 B movie 獨立製片人 Roger Corman 也在這時候進入市場專拍 B movie 最底層的電影進行低風險高報酬的賭注。………. 讓更多過氣演員以及二線演員獲得表演機會，也訓練出後來成名的導演和演員，例如 Francis Ford Coppola, John Cassavetes, Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson 等等
